متن کاملCusps and D-modules
We study interactions between the categories of D-modules on smooth and singular varieties. For a large class of singular varieties Y , we use an extension of the Grothendieck–Sato formula to show that DY -modules are equivalent to stratifications on Y , and as a consequence are unaffected by a class of homeomorphisms, the cuspidal quotients. In particular, when Y has a smooth bijective normali...
متن کاملModular Invariant D - Modules
We studyD-modules over the modular curve of level 1 defined as an orbifold, and show that if such D-modules are of rank 1, these monodromy representations map the S-action to the identity. This means that in the orbifold case, there are linear representations of the fundamental groups which do not come from D-modules.
متن کاملWild Twistor D-modules
We propose a definition of (polarized) wild twistor D-modules, generalizing to objects with irregular singularities that of (polarized) regular twistor D-modules. We give a precise analysis in dimension one.
متن کاملLectures on D-modules
These are lecture notes of a course given at the University of Chicago in Winter 1998. The purpose of the lectures is to give an introduction to the theory of modules over the (sheaf of) algebras of algebraic differential operators on a complex manifold. This theory was created about 15-20 years ago in the works of Beilinson-Bernstein and Kashiwara, and since then had a number of spectacular ap...
